Synopsis
Paul Wamo is a Kanak poet, singer-songwriter and a key player on the New Caledonian arts scene. We enjoy his skilful and expressive use of words in slam scenes filmed on his native island, in Lifou, from Nouméa to Hienghène, from the city to natural landscapes, from postcard to shanty town, alternating with scenes from his SOL and Haut-Parleur Pacifique (HPP) concerts. His words are as political as poetic. His texts speak of memories and identities, and question the political future of New Caledonia.
