Synopsis
RideThePlanet is a TV Series of colourful stories, shown through the eyes of top Russian action sports athletes. These documentaries are about freeriding and travel. They represent impressive trips to remote lands and include emotional soundtracks. The destinations are not typical and could not be found in tourist agencies top-lists. A team of riders discover unique landscapes, try it for action sport and explore cultural and ethnical diversity of the lands. Our characters are professional skiers and snowboarders, whitewater kayakers and mountain bikers, mountain guides, helicopter pilots – people who live in the mountains and call it their home. RideThePlanet is a Russian independent media project that started in 2011, with 29 episodes produced up to now. Filming took place in different mountainous regions of the world: Russian Caucasus and polar areas, Japan, Kashmir, Uganda, Norway, Georgia, Alps, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Lofoten islands and Kamchatka. The RideThePlanet project specializes in the production of freeride and action sport visual content, documentary film production and offline lifestyle events.
