Synopsis

Dota 2 was released in 2013. It is an online multiplayer combat arena video game in which 10 players divided in two teams strive to collectively destroy the “Ancient”, the enemy’s team, while defending their own. The game is played thanks to a traditional real-time strategy controls. Each of the game’s 121 playable characters are called “heroes”. During the last WESG championship tournament on Dota 2, TNC Predator won with a prize pool of US $890,000.World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) is an international esports championship tournament created in 2016. It occurs in Shanghai, China and it is organized by a worldwide famous promoter named AliSports. The total cash-prize given at the end of the first edition was around 5,5 millions US dollars.
