Synopsis
The Beast is a 2023 French-Canadian science fiction romantic drama film directed by Bertrand Bonello from a screenplay he co-wrote with Guillaume Bréaud and Benjamin Charbit, freely inspired by Henry James' 1903 novella The Beast in the Jungle. The plot is set partly in a near future in which artificial intelligence is in control of everyone's lives and human emotions are perceived as a threat.Starring Lea Seydoux and George MacKay.
