Synopsis
Two weeks prior to the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, Monaco hosts the Monaco Grand Prix Historique and these shows give an exclusive insight to this unique event. Priceless vintage sportscars and Grand Prix cars from pre-war right up to 1980 are raced in anger around the most famous of racetracks, the Monaco Street circuit. Anything but a series of parade laps, the racing is a fierce as any modern competition. Add into the mix exclusive interviews with motorsport legends including Mika Hakkinen, Eddie Irvine, Adrian Newey, Ricardo Patrese and Gerhard Berger, as well as the sights and sounds of irreplaceable machines.
