Synopsis
Fashion Chicks is the young Devil Wears Prada, in the line with Mean Girls en She’s The Man Esmee is an introverted girl from a humble background. Her great ambition is to become a fashion designer, but she can't even afford to wear designer clothing herself, let alone make her dream a reality. When Esmee gets the opportunity to do a work placement at top fashion company Wolff Fashion, she is soon downgraded to working in the warehouse. Although she is really miffed about it, it does mean she now has access to rejected designer clothing. Esmee starts to design her own clothes and creates an online alter-ego for herself: 'Lizzy'. An unplanned appearance at Fashion Week makes Lizzy and her blog instafamous. Top fashion director and founder of Wolff Fashion, Victoria Wolff even wants Lizzy to be the blogger for her trend-setting label, which means Esmee has to start living a double life. But soon Lizzy starts to get the upper hand in her private life as well and day by day the risk of being found out is growing...
