Vieux Farka Touré, son of legendary guitar player Ali Farka Touré was born in the small village of Niafunké in Northern Mali, West Africa. Vieux de Niafunké is a story of community, family, love, peace, resilience, and the transcendent power of music. This feature documentary is a portrait of Mali through music—but also a worldwide journey as Vieux builds connections and shares his music and culture with a world that desperately needs it.
